Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

We are looking for 4 production team members for our East Moline, IL location! The production associate will be responsible for completing assigned jobs, tasks, and projects throughout the warehouse. The departments include, but are not limited to, the Assembly Cell, Saw Operator, Receiving, Shipping, and work orders. The primary task involves pulling copper tubing/pipe for shipments to customers such as Menards, Lowes, and Home Depot. Before shipping, the wire needs to be covered with protective tubing and boxed/shipped safely and correctly.

Responsibilities

• Move pipe to pick locations

• Pull customer orders

• Bar code and/or label pipe

• Bundle/wrap pipe

• Cut pipe (complete cut sheets)

• Segregate and identify scrap

• Wrap product for shipment

• Unload trucks when necessary

• Load outbound shipments

Essential Skills

• Production experience

• General labor experience

• Proficiency with hand tools

• Machine operating experience

• Inventory management

• Experience with loading and unloading

• Shipping and receiving knowledge

• Assembly skills

• Labeling skills

• Packaging experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Why Work Here?

We offer 1st shift hours only, from 6:00am-2:30pm Monday through Friday! This is a great opportunity to grow within the company with minimal experience in a warehouse setting. Once trained and cross-trained (usually 1-3 weeks depending on the individual), you will be eligible for a production incentive of $2.00/hour for Tier 1 and $3.00/hour for Tier 2.

Work Environment

The work environment is non-climate controlled, which means it can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter months. The noise level is usually quiet but can be moderate or loud based on specific department activities and the use of tools or machinery.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
