About this Position:
This position will serve as the Systems Integration Manager, providing management and technical oversight for the Systems Integration section, overseeing MDARD's Licensing and Inspection IT implementation program, LIS, all Laboratory and Consumer Services Bureau IT requests, and the department's Geographic Information Systems (GIS) team. The Systems Integration Manager will assist LIS Product Owners with agency project management by coordinating workloads and assignments of section staff, serving as a liaison between agency Product Owners, DTMB Agency Services staff, vendor partners, and DTMB Project Management Office (PMO) staff. This position ensures that all LIS projects and activities are delivered in a consistent, cohesive and efficient manner, are on time and within budget, are prioritized based on each business owner's needs, and are aligned with the strategic priorities of MDARD. This position will also be responsible for the administration and coordination of MDARD's GIS program. This position will lead, manage, and maintain all aspects of the department's GIS program which involves the implementation and oversight of program development, as well as creating and implementing a governance plan to ensure tools, products, and design guidelines remain up-to-date and in accordance with DTMB policy.

Required Education and Experience
Education
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
Experience
Four years of professional experience, including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level.
Alternate Education and Experience
Education level typically acquired through completion of high school and two years of safety and regulatory or law enforcement experience at the 14 level; or, one year of safety and regulatory or law enforcement experience at the 15 level, may be substituted for the education and experience requirements.

Vacation and Sick Leave:Eligible full-time employees receive between15 and 35 personal daysand 13 sick daysper year that may be rolled over to the following year if not used. Eligible employees also receive an additional day each year for community service or school functions.
Paid Parental Leave:Eligible employees can take 12 weeks of paid leaveimmediately after a birth or adoption to allow needed time together at home with a new child.
Paid Holidays:Eligible employees receive 13 or 14 paid holidays each year including New Year’s Eve and Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Election Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Friday, Christmas Eve and Day.
