In partnership with a well-established nonprofit organization, we are seeking a dynamic Senior Accountant. This Senior Accountant role offers the best of both worlds – a flexible hybrid work model that accommodates 1-2 days per week in-office and remote work the rest of the week.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

• Collaborating with financial department and management on budgeting, financial planning and analysis, and the decision-making process.

• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Ensuring compliance with state revenue service, federal tax regulations, and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

• Assisting in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic budget forecasts.

• Implementing and maintaining fiscal controls and procedures.

• Supporting the annual audit process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant and progressive accounting experience
