We are in search of a Sales Assistant to be part of our team in the manufacturing industry, located in East Hazel Crest, Illinois. The role will involve assisting the sales team with generating sales using government portals, identifying bids, and understanding government codes. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the sales team with generating sales using government portals

• Identify and process bids, understanding government codes

• Engage in Rigging and Cable Sling Equipment Sales

• Utilize government online portals for sales

• Make calls to facilitate sales processes

• Use skills in Microsoft Office and Internet browsers to perform tasks effectively

• Apply knowledge in Equipment sales, Federal Government, Government Agencies & Programs, U. S. Government, Bidding Processes, and Internet for daily tasks

• Leverage experience in hardware or electronic sales for business growth

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Sales Assistant role, preferably within the manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites is essential

• Experience in equipment sales is highly desirable

• Knowledge of Federal Government, Government Agencies & Programs, and U.S. Government procedures

• Familiarity with bidding processes

• Internet proficiency for online sales and communication

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Proactive approach towards problem-solving and decision-making

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is a plus.
