Job Title: Assembler & Paint Specialist

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Assembler to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in assembling and packaging various essential products, such as flashlight battery packs for commercial flights, first aid kits, survival kits, and demo bags for flight attendants. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask effectively, and the flexibility to work independently as well as collaborate with team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret work orders and follow production drawings and sample assemblies to accurately assemble panel parts.

  • Follow both written and verbal instructions to complete assigned tasks.

  • Safely use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

  • Position and align parts using jigs, fixtures, or other devices to ensure proper assembly.

  • Perform various joining techniques, such as crimping, riveting, welding, soldering, and more to secure parts.

  • Mount electrical components (e.g., transformers, resistors, capacitors) onto chassis panels.

  • Install and secure finished assemblies into external hardware or cases.

  • Attach and secure hardware components, including caps, clamps, knobs, and switches.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Previous experience in assembly, packaging, and reading blueprints

  • Familiarity with hand and power tools

  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly, soldering, and production line processes

Work Environment

  • Clean, well-lit, temperature-controlled, and static-controlled workspace

  • Quiet environment with manageable humidity in certain areas

  • Work primarily performed at a bench with close supervision and team collaboration

  • Rotating shift schedule with 9-hour workdays from Monday to Thursday, and alternating 8-hour or no work on Fridays

  • First shift: 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract-to-Hire position based in East Aurora, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $21.00
