PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: The Data & Analytics Organization PMO is looking for a highly motivated individual with strong organizational skills for the position of Program Manager. This position provides project management and business analysis services while working on data management and software development projects. About the Role In this opportunity as a Data & Analytics Program Manager, you will: Define, documents and delivers large-scale departmental data management and technology programs Collaborate with business owners to align project deliverables with business goals and expectations Actively lead all phases of the project. Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the program Defines, communicates, and champions a method of working to manage the strategy Define and programs governance to ensure there is sufficient executive support and guidance Have effective control, leadership and responsibility for the delivery of the program - including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and business value. Develop and leads the process for dealing with rapid major change. Ensures the communication channels and processes are in place to notify key stakeholders so that plans can be amended and the necessary action taken. Provide thought leadership on all aspects of the program in order to ensure successful delivery. Establishes the appropriate tools and processes to meet project goals. Influences program sponsor to make the appropriate decisions and modifications in response to external influences on the program. Effectively communicate difficult concepts to program stakeholders and modifies personal approach and style to reflect changing circumstance. Ensures appropriate sponsorship. Develop and maintain strong knowledge of the functional areas intersecting the Program Management role. Stays abreast of changes and trends in the industry. Provide feedback on an ongoing basis to improve processes, methodologies, and standards to improve efficiency, quality, and performance Collaborate with other project managers to share and build a common set of best practices About You You're a fit for the role of Data & Analytics Program Manager if you have experience in: Four-year undergraduate degree or work-experience equivalent. Degree in data science, computer science or related field is strongly desired. Seven or more years of experience working in a data or technology environment including four or more years of project management experience. Demonstrated project planning and management skills with working knowledge of project management methodology and software. PMP certification a plus but not required. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITY: Strong communication skills - both written and verbal - which must include willingness to communicate, clarity of communication style, tact and sensitivity when dealing with difficult situations; Strong persuasion and negotiation skills, including conflict resolution skills. Good leadership qualities in setting direction and encouraging others to participate and creating a sense and spirit of teamwork. Ability to break complex business issues into actionable tasks. Ability to work effectively in a professional manner with managers, technology staff, business stakeholders and end users. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Self-motivated. Ability to establish good and effective relationships with the business owners. Strong team player and contributor. Demonstrated project planning and management skills with working knowledge of project management methodology and software. Demonstrated experience in creating and leading cross-functional project teams. Ability to work independently, self-motivated, ability to drive projects. Experience with business cases and compiling and analyzing information to estimate project costs. Demonstrated facilitation skills with the ability to gather meaningful data, resolve conflicts and build consensus. Experience creating use cases and user workflow diagrams to describ processes is desired.
