As Service Inside Sales Team Member, you are responsible for achieving annual service care plan goals through strategic planning and tactical implementation to grow the Service Care Plans in the aftermarket. You’ll be part of a collaborative, diverse and dynamic team located across our European offices, with great exposure to company’s initiatives and external / internal stakeholders. Our main Service offices are in Munich, Germany; Prato (Florence), Italy and Massy (Paris), France. EMEA Services is at the core of X-Rite strategy and a growing and future looking division.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Demonstrate effective value selling skills and product/service understanding to uncover customer needs to position an appropriate solution.

  • Engage customers via phone and email by providing quotations, cross-selling, up-selling, and minimizing discounting where possible.

  • Coordinate multiple sales opportunities, account management activities in Salesforce (SFDC) while maintaining data integrity.

  • Prepare and present a weekly funnel and QDIP review (Quality, Deliver, Inventory & Productivity), using SFDC to apply funnel management to demonstrate the quality of the funnel, activity plans, and command of the account base.

  • Provide voice of sales customer input in corporate programs including market research and Kaizen events.

  • Proactively partner and communicate with lead generation, service inside sales - renewals, field sales, and admin teams to ensure customer satisfaction and promptly close business opportunities.

  • Analyse and present service and sales data to demonstrate service ROI, support field sales, and other internal activities.

The essential requirements of the job include: High degree of motivation, goal driven, self-starter.

  • Advanced level of English, German and French

  • Comfortable in an international and fast paced environment, with a result driven approach

  • Proven interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal) for frequent contact with internal and external customers.

  • Proven organizational and time management skills; ability to set priorities and work independently.

  • Proficiency in the use of PCs and software, including CRM databases (SalesForce.com).

  • Customers are your number one priority, and you can always keep a positive attitude, work should also be fun!
