We are seeking a full-time Structural Engineering in Training (EIT) with a positive, collaborative work style for our Structural Engineering Studio in our Durham, NC office.

Little is made up of Architects, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineers, Land Planners, Landscape Architects & Civil Engineers, Interior Designers, Graphic Designers, CAFM & Strategic Planners and Digital Imaging and Animation specialists. We have offices in Charlotte NC, Newport Beach CA, Durham NC, Orlando FL, and Washington DC.

Today our Engineering Studios are mainly in our Charlotte and Durham offices, but our goal is to elevate our engineering capabilities and to grow dynamic Engineering Studios in every office of Little.

The individual selected for the opportunity will perform design tasks and produce construction documents associated with structural engineering projects. He/she will work within Revit and alongside experienced structural engineers to successfully complete projects within established budgets and deadlines.

Candidates will have some or all of the following qualifications:

  • You are curious and creative, have a passion for problem-solving and critical thinking, and able to collaborate in a team setting;

  • A minimum of an Associates or Technical degree;

  • 2+ years of professional experience;

  • Knowledge of Revit (AutoCAD a plus);

  • Passion for sustainability (LEED Accredited a plus); and

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
