Your role at Clorox:

As a Senior HR Consultant of Learning and Development at Clorox, you will assist in designing, organizing, and managing learning and development programs. This role also maintains a consistent culture in the business regarding learning and development and is responsible for the creation, implementation, and improvement of all business-wide learning and development efforts. You will need to be an adaptive learner, who can manage multiple tasks across multiple projects, leveraging and applying your experience effectively. You will design and document organizational and operational processes to support program and process execution.

In this role, you will:

  • Develops effective learning and development programs and materials based upon customer needs, making regular modifications to programs where necessary

  • Provides enterprise perspective for projects to ensure alignment with strategic business objectives.

  • Ensures consistency in the delivery and application of learning standards across the business and oversees the planning, prioritization, and development of new programs and initiatives, ensuring that these programs and initiatives are consistent with the business overall strategies, objectives, and needs

  • Conducts analyses to identify and define present and future needs

  • Introduces the latest and most applicable trends in learning and development for inclusion in the overall strategy, maintaining and updating programs, and ensuring an innovative approach within the business

  • Implements, evaluates, and benchmarks learning and development projects in alignment with strategic objectives

  • Consults and supports business partners on various training-related projects, programs, and development plans

  • Delivers and facilitate varied trainings, in various formats (classroom, web-based, blended)

  • Leverages the LMS (Workday Learning) to execute and manage program delivery

What we look for:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 7+ years of experience in Human Resources, Learning & Development, and Program Management

  • Instructional Design a plus

  • Knowledge of agile project management, Kirkpatrick Model for training evaluation, ADDIE instructional design a plus

  • Program Design & Development: Builds effective learning programs tailored to customer needs, integrating feedback for continuous improvement. Designs materials based on adult learning principles and diverse styles​

  • Needs Analysis & Innovation: Identifies learning needs to inform program development. Integrates trends and technologies for innovative, future-focused talent development.

  • Program Management and Evaluation : Implements, monitors, and benchmarks learning and development projects against strategic objectives, using metrics and analytics to measure success and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Consultation and Collaboration : Partners with business leaders and stakeholders to consult on training-related initiatives, advising on program design, delivery methods, and development plans to address organizational challenges effectively

  • Training, Delivery, and Facilitation: Delivers and facilitates a wide range of training programs in multiple formats, including classroom, virtual, and blended learning environments, engaging participants and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

  • Learning Management Systems (LMS) : Leverages and manages the LMS (e.g., Workday Learning) to execute, track, and evaluate program delivery, ensuring seamless user experiences and robust reporting capabilities.

  • Change Management and Communication : Drives adoption and engagement with learning initiatives through effective communication strategies, stakeholder buy-in, and change management practices.

  • Project Management: Applies project management methodologies to oversee the lifecycle of learning initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, effective resource utilization, and alignment with business objectives.

  • Stakeholder Engagement : Builds and maintains strong relationships across the organization to ensure alignment and integration of learning strategies with broader business initiatives.

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $121,900 - $240,100

–Zone B: $111,700 - $220,100

–Zone C: $101,600 - $200,100

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
