Job Description

A client in the Durham, NC area is seeking a Controls Technician for a contract to hire position. This person will be joining the Controls Group and will be responsible for final checkout of control systems. They will be required to perform program downloading and checkout as well as some troubleshooting and completing service calls to existing customers.

Key Responsibilities

Download programs in field devices provided by engineering.

Point to Point checkout of all provided control equipment and third-party equipment.

Completing control service calls

Troubleshoot and repair wiring issues

Terminate control panels

Provide technical assistance to installation technicians

Assist Test and Balance

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of Controls Technician/Installation experience

Experience with HVAC Systems

Experience with BAS (Building Automation System) AX/N4 Certification null
