Your Role

The Carrier and Supplier Onboarding and Performance Manager is responsible for managing the onboarding process of new carriers and suppliers, ensuring they meet the customer’s standards and requirements. This role also involves monitoring and evaluating the performance of existing carriers and suppliers to ensure optimal service delivery and compliance with contractual obligations. This position requires an individual to maintain a robust customer presence and consistently foster effective collaboration.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement onboarding processes for new carriers and suppliers.

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to ensure compliance with company standards.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate smooth onboarding and integration.

  • Provide training and support to new carriers and suppliers on company policies and procedures.

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of carriers and suppliers against key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and audits to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

  • Identify areas for improvement and work with carriers and suppliers to implement corrective actions.

  • Develop and maintain performance metrics and reporting systems.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and suppliers.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for carrier and supplier-related issues and inquiries.

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with carriers and suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve any performance-related issues.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments to ensure the company remains competitive.

  • Lead initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the onboarding and performance management processes.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of proven experience in carrier and supplier management, preferably in a logistics or supply chain environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in using performance management and reporting tools.

  • Experience with contract negotiation and management.

  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours if required.
