Your role at Clorox:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IAM Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the resiliency and security of IAM directory technologies and configurations to meet enterprise security requirements. Your expertise will support the development and maintenance of a robust identity management infrastructure.

The IAM Engineer will serve as a subject matter expert for identity platforms, including Active Directory, EntraID, and other authentication and authorization systems. You will ensure that infrastructure technology investments align with organizational standards, policies, and governance strategies, enabling secure and efficient operations across the enterprise.

This is a hands-on technical role, where you will provide technical guidance to operations teams, oversee global change implementations, and lead the integration of new technologies. You will play a critical role in enhancing Clorox's Identity Management platforms to support evolving business needs.

In this role, you will:

  • Primary Technical Engineer for Active Directory, EntraID or integrations with other authentication or authorization platforms.

  • Provide deployment and execution direction leadership to in the planning and implementation of the technology’s new features or integrations.

  • Guide company decision-making relative to the IAM Directory technologies, execution roadmaps, and timing with life-cycle management of existing technologies.

  • Continual Improvement for existing processes and operational standards for the operational and on-call staff to address requests and outages.

  • Daily Operational point of escalation of P1 and P2 issues with the vendor when needed to guide operational staff to resolution.

  • Provide compliances and a culture of standards awareness and continuous improvement to ensure infrastructure policies, standards, and guidelines are always followed.

  • Continual Improvement or Public and Private Cloud Infrastructure Architecture guidelines and standards focused on infrastructure and security best practice in a centralized management model.

  • Driving the implementation target state that is aligned with business requirements and minimizes disruptions.

  • Gather application IAM requirements, provide technical guidance, and foster a collective understanding of IAM processes and security configurations.

  • Align with various application, data, security, and infrastructure teams to determine high level plans for infrastructure solutions while assessing the impact against infrastructure standards.

What we look for:

  • 5+ years as an Enterprise Infrastructure Systems Engineer in advanced Active Directory and EntraID experience in a globally large environment.

  • 2+ years of cloud security within Azure (required) and other Cloud Service Providers

  • Familiarity to the Zero Trust Architecture framework, NIST framework and experience applying the framework to infrastructure technology.

  • Demonstrate experience and knowledge involving the development of multi-tier and cross-platform architecture plans to include enterprise workflows, and distributed architecture.

  • Demonstrate experience in applications in Windows/Linux environments.

  • A background in IT infrastructure such as datacenter compute, storage, networking, hyperconverged technologies, backups, monitoring, server OS, database.

  • A working knowledge of all Cloud Service Provider best practices and capabilities

  • Ability to ensure cybersecurity and privacy standards are followed per organizational policies.

  • Ability to lead through influence across and with the IAM teams at Clorox.

  • Relevant Microsoft Certifications are also desired.

  • Desired Skills: CAP, PAM, PIM GPO, DCR Core OS, PKI, Templates, Hybrid AD experience, PowerShell, Graph, M365, IAM Identity compliance, Tiering Support, Azure Coud infra experience.

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $104,100 - $199,100

–Zone B: $95,500 - $183,300

–Zone C: $86,800 - $166,600

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
