Kelly Services Facilities Support in Durham, North Carolina

The Facilities Support role is a temporary position working off hours and weekends to monitor and report any issues with utility systems at a cell therapy manufacturing facility to ensure continuous facility support operations. Utility systems include but are not limited to HVAC, Chill Water Plant, Backup Generators, Compressed Air, Boilers, Carbon Dioxide. This position will also include cleaning of gray space areas and outside back dock areas and other duties as directed. This is an opportunity for dependable personnel with facilities experience as well as those willing to learn and get experience in life science company.

Responsibilities:

  1. Arrive at work on time as scheduled.

  2. Perform continuous walk-through of facility documenting, communicating, and correcting any alarms, issues, or abnormal conditions.

  3. Respond to power outages and equipment issues as instructed.

  4. Maintain a clean environment.

Qualifications:

  1. Above all else, dependable and trainable with a strong willingness to learn

  2. Prefer experience maintaining supportive facility & utility equipment in a GMP regulated facility.

  3. Prefer experience with BMS (Building Management System)

  4. Analytical and technical skills to work through and troubleshoot HVAC, Chiller, Backup Generator, Boiler, and Compressed air systems a plus.

  5. Effective communication and organizational skills.

  6. Flexibility to perform various tasks and ability to prioritize based on business needs.

4 shifts available:

M- Friday Midnight to 8am

M-Friday 5pm-1am

Saturday and Sunday- Midnight to Noon

Saturday and Sunday -Noon to Midnight
