Job Title: NERC Compliance EngineerJob Description

The Cybersecurity Compliance Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the systems and technologies required to ensure compliance with NERC CIP standards at our Remote Operation Center. This role involves close collaboration with Cybersecurity Compliance Analysts, the Head of Cybersecurity, and other stakeholders to translate policies into technical solutions that meet regulatory requirements.

Hard Skills

• Linux and Windows server environments

• Virtualization technologies including Docker and VMWare

• Industrial control systems (ICS) and SCADA networks

• Network security technologies, such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems

• SIEM, monitoring and logging tools

• Strong knowledge of NERC CIP standards and their technical implementation

• Knowledge of security best practices and frameworks like ISO and NIST

Soft Skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Strong communication skills

• Effective documentation skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Durham, North Carolina and some days remote.
