Earned a Ph.D./terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to teach students in a specific field of expertise
Creating and managing a syllabus that meets the department and university standards
Planning and creating lectures, in class discussions, and assignments
Grade assigned papers, quizzes, and exams.
Effectively communicate with students.
Ability to travel.
Maximum of 7 hours per week.

Position Overview
Primary Purpose of Position
Each person will travel to our off-site locations when deemed okay to do so. They will teach Master of School Administration Curriculum. The individual will also be responsible for taking class attendance, submitting a class syllabus with assignments, creating a Canvas shell with information to support all learners, grading coursework, and providing ongoing and timely feedback to all students in the course.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit
The NCCU School of Education offers undergraduate, graduate, licensure and professional development programs to train students to become teachers, principals, counselors, as well as serve as mentors to community schools. The School offers traditional, classroom-based instruction as well as online instructions. Faculty and staff bring diverse knowledge and experience, provide students with a unique learning experience; teach in small classroom size for easier access to each other and their instructors, and employ the latest technology.
