Agile Program Manager:

In this role, you will work closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Delivery Managers, and Change Managers to plan and lead Agile programs that deliver AI-powered, clinical analytics products. You will serve as a subject matter expert on Agile at scale. You will incorporate best practices from related disciplines such as DevOps, Lean, Kanban, and Project Management. You will be recognized across the organization for your servant leadership, ownership, accountability, and delivery of business value.

Your typical activities will include:

  • Scaleagile principles and practices across the organization.

  • Provide Agile program governance for up to 12 Scrum teams in partnership with Product Managers, Product Owners, Delivery Managers, and Change Managers.

  • Facilitate Program Increment Planning events to ensure alignment across a program of work, with particular attention to eliminating, reducing, and managing dependencies.

  • Create and manage Program Increment Plans that detail key performance indicators, milestones, critical path activities, integration points, and release activities.

  • Proactively manage program budgets, roadmaps, risks, issues, metrics, and status reports to the executive level.

  • Lead program and organizational-level improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 8+ years’ experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Project Manager, or Agile Delivery Manager with proven ability to lead large, Agile projects through delivery of business value

  • 3+ years’ proven experience scaling Agile and leading a program of 5+ Agile teams

  • Strong leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills in a global, distributed environment

  • Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands

  • Command of the English language, both verbal and written, and good communication skills

  • Jira expertise

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience as an Enterprise Agile Coach or Release Train Engineer

  • Certifications such as the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Release Train Engineer and Project Management Professional

  • Strong understanding of software development, with sufficient technical background to provide credible leadership and to identify and manage complex risks and issues

  • 2+ years’ experience in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or clinical research

  • Experience with Aha!

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $129,000.00 - $215,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
