Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Retail Merchandiser in Durant, Oklahoma
Job Purpose or Objective(s): As a Retail Merchandiser, you will be responsible for the execution and maintenance of interior product placement and visual displays, the implementation of strategic retail campaigns, and increasing customer sales through promotion of products to proper target audience for Choctaw Country Market, Travel Plaza, and Choctaw Stores. You will report to the Retail Merchandising Director.
Location : Durant
Schedule : Regular/Full-Time Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
Primary Tasks:
You will Implement merchandising plan, product display and placement, and inventory list to assure easy access and profitability of merchandise.
Develop organization’s operations team on merchandising best practices.
Help plan inventory levels and sets for season, department, or class of merchandise.
Note consumer trends and monitor performance to establish overall product assortment strategy and planning.
Help determine budget and par-level quantities for seasonal, department, or class buying.
Communicate supplier problems as they arise to leadership.
Regular reporting to leadership on market findings, trends, and performance.
Travel to sites monthly to ensure merchandise is stoked and planograms are being followed.
Partner with the planning group to create monthly (or periodic) sales goals.
Perform other responsibilities may be assigned.
Job Requirements:
Associate degree in Retail, Business, Marketing, or related field or 2 years directly related experience
Follow directions and multi-tasks job responsibilities.
A background in retail operations or merchandising.
Two (2) years’ experience in retail operations, merchandising management, marketing management, and/or retail brand management.
