What you’ll do as a director

  • You will lead a centralized Construction Planning and Delivery organization to include full time and contract employees, outsourced vendor partners, PMO, inspection and quality control of work performed by Contract labor in a direct and matrixed management environment.

  • You will build and maintain relationships with key boundary partners within the Lambert’s Cable organization, as well as Market-level OSP Construction personnel.

  • You will work with Lambert’s Cable to support strategic network expansion and new Cox Business opportunities.

  • You will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of the accounting for project scheduling, project status reporting and budgetary governance.

  • You will optimize the existing OSP infrastructure to support a positive customer experience.

  • You will drive the development of consistent execution of operationally efficient and effective processes.

  • You will be responsible for the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements for leaders to make proper decisions.

  • You will own the analysis and management of key performance indicators and service level agreements for Enterprise Construction activities and proactively take actions to improve performance as appropriate.

  • You will demonstrate a commitment to outstanding customer service to Lambert’s Cable business operations.

  • You will understand customer needs while developing and executing plans to address them and improve the overall customer experience.

  • You will monitor and influence relationships between the Local and State regulatory and Public affairs communication teams to insure effective notification of project related Construction activities.

  • You will develop, implement and monitor proper project status reporting and establish internal controls as well as key operational management controls.

  • You will build and enhance a strong team that provides proactive support and results-driven execution of responsibilities to meet the current and future needs of the business.

  • You will monitors and assesses current trends and emerging developments within the Broadband Industry to ensure the Company’s compliance and preparedness.

  • You will remain abreast of best practices and trends relevant to Network Construction and Design technologies.

  • You will liaise with key stakeholders across Lambert’s Cable to ensure appropriate service levels are being provided

  • You will manage and coach employees to increase engagement and strengthen professional development.

  • You will continually strives to develop talent within the Construction organization to promote individual development and career growth.

  • You will perform related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested.

What you’ll need

  • You are 18 years of age or older

  • You are authorized to work in the United States for this company

  • You have 10 or more years of experience required in related field (i.e. Network Design, Construction, Telecommunications)

  • You have knowledge of current and emerging trends and developments within the construction field and corresponding impact on business operations.

  • You have leadership and strategic management skills to develop, coach, and direct the performance of a team to achieve goals and objectives.

  • You have proven leadership and teamwork skills fostering an inclusive, supportive environment by motivating and developing staff at all levels.

  • You have an executive presence with which to interact and influence at all levels of the organization.

  • You have the skills and ability to clearly and concisely communicate verbally and in writing to convey complex concepts clearly and logically.

  • You have critical thinking and analytical skills, including the capacity to identify, assess and prioritize competing interests and needs.

  • You have proven ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities, multiple demands, ambiguity and rapid change.
