Description
Robert Half Talent Solutions is representing a strong client of ours that is seeking a Controller to join their manufacturing organization in the Scranton, Pennsylvania area. In this role as Controller, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of the division's financial operations and accounting functions. This includes the oversight of financial statement generation, budget development, and the coordination of audit processes.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the generation of monthly financial statements and reports for managers
• Oversee the division's accounting/finance group
• Manage the monthly financial statement close process
• Develop and maintain the annual budget and quarterly forecasts for the Board of Directors
• Oversee credit, billing, and revenue collection processes
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure its accuracy
• Support the Division President in reporting financial relationships for the Division's clients
• Assist with the annual audit process
• Travel to various warehouses as needed for hands-on role functions
• Utilize skills in Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, CRM, Crystal Reports, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, Budget Processes, and 3M for efficient management and operation.
Requirements
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Controller or similar role
• Proficiency in 3M software
• Extensive knowledge of Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP Systems
• Proficiency in CRM systems
• Experience with Crystal Reports
• In-depth understanding of Accounting Functions
• Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Demonstrated experience in Auditing
• Familiarity with Budget Processes
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a plus
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage various projects.
