Summary:

Works under the direction of the Outreach Laboratory Director, manages the work processes in the areas of collection, receiving and processing of outreach specimens for testing, communications with nursing/clients regarding patient specimens, referring specimens to outside laboratories, development of policies and procedures, assisting in various projects. Interacts with physicians/clients/staff. Prioritizes, delegates and coordinates the technical and administrative functions of the various outreach areas.

  • Shift Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Minimum Qualifications:

Other information:

Required Certification includes Phlebotomy or Medical Lab Assistant. Additional required skills includes Cerner LIS and Invison - SMS knowledge.

Education:

Essential:

  • HS Graduate or Equivalent GED

Nonessential:

  • Associates Degree

Education equivalent experience:

Essential:

  • Required - High School or Equivalent; Preferred - Associates - Related Field

Nonessential:

  • Required - High School or Equivalent; Preferred - Associates - Related Field
