Job Description

The Wet Room Operator II is responsible for various roles in the Wet Process department, including Etch, Microetch, Direct Metal, Develop, Resist Strip, Ferric Etch, and Tin Strip. The operator is expected to train and certify in at least one of these processes.

Responsibilities

• Read, follow, and sign route sheet.

• Read and understand blueprints within the route sheet.

• Operate Etch, Microetch, Direct Metal, Develop, Resist Strip, Ferric Etch, and/or Tin Strip according to the appropriate Standard Operating Procedure.

• Review and inspect work according to IPC standards.

• Move work orders within Paradigm.

• Participate in, implement, and create continuous improvement ideas.

• Understand and actively participate in 5S initiatives.

• Cross train to perform skills outside of the initial area.

• Become certified as a trainer in at least one skill.

Essential Skills

• 6 months of manufacturing or production experience.

• High School Diploma.

• Ability to stand on feet for the full shift.

• High attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate with engineers on findings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with electronics

• Specifically IPC standards, is a plus

Work Environment

Work in a clean manufacturing environment within a climate-controlled facility. The dress code is casual, allowing jeans and t-shirts. The company promotes a family-like culture.

Shift Hours:

1st: 6am-2:30pm

2nd: 2pm-10:30pm

3rd: 10pm-6:30am

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00
