You will need to reapply for any future recruitment conducted for this job classification. *[Job Duties:[ This senior-level engineering position will be in the Traffic Engineering Design Division (TEDD) of the Office of Traffic and Safety (OOTS). This position focuses on managing the review, design, and approval of complex Traffic Control Device (TCD) and Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) projects in Maryland. This role involves both office and field work and requires compliance with federal and state standards. The Project Manager will provide guidance on sign design and materials to various stakeholders. This position will also collaborate on Non-Standard Sign Requests, prepare design options, and ensure compliance with design standards.
[The Project Manager will contribute to the SHA Standard Sign Book updates and engineering standards development. This position will manage large, site-specific contracts from initiation to completion including Design-Build projects.
