SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the Charge Nurse or Nurse Manager, provides direct patient care in the acute care departments by assisting and/or providing nursing care to acute care patients. Communicates with nurses and other staff about patient’s clinical condition. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in conditions. Additionally, is cross-trained to perform duties in other departments. EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Completion of Certified Nurses Aide training course required. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Six months experience in a hospital setting preferred. LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: * Current CNA certification required. * Current CPR certification required.
