Essential Functions
Commit to "owning" the cleanliness of every element and aspect of the building with a critical eye for detail
Ensure all staff is properly trained and have the supplies and equipment needed to effectively carry out their job functions
Directs and works with employees to verify guestrooms, public space and employee areas are clean and well maintained
Verifies guest room status is communicated to the Front Desk in a timely and efficient manner
Inventories stock to verify adequate supplies
Supports and supervises an effective inspection program for all guestrooms and public space
Understands the impact of department's operations on the overall financial goals and objectives and manages to achieve or exceed budgeted goals
Communicates areas that need attention to staff and follows up to verify understanding
Supervises daily Housekeeping shift operations and verifies compliance with all housekeeping policies, standards and procedures
Assist with any housekeeping duties when need arise
Responds to and handles guest problems and complaints
Ensure effective and timely communication to all hotel guests and employees on issues, information and process
Participate in departmental and special committee meetings to contribute suggestions and feedback
Other duties as assigned
Required Experience:
Minimum Requirements
High School or equivalent education required
Must have a minimum of three years housekeeping experience; ideally with additional inspections and supervisory responsibilities.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; ability to communicate effectively with community partners, vendors / external parties, and across internal divisions

Schedule may vary due to the specific needs of the hotel
Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws regarding health and safety service
Proficient Computer literacy with multiple systems
Able to handle any situation under pressure
