Who You Are:

You will bring an expertise in building Sales Operations team over the course of your career. You have supported sales teams with different go-to-market strategies and product offerings. You know how to create efficiencies within the process using sales analytics while building scalable solutions.

The Impact You Will Have:

As a Director of Sales Operations , you will spearhead our sales strategy and process improvement to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales organization. You will be the strategic communicator between our executive Sales Leaders and the Sales Ops team. In addition to supporting Sales, your team will continuously improve all pipeline and sales analytics, reporting, and dashboards to provide insights used for strategic decision-making by QTS Sales leadership.

What You Will Do:

  • Oversee core sales operations people, process and technology and while driving sales ops strategy to better support and enhance the Sales team, including optimizing work processes, establishing/enhancing KPIs, and sales enablement technology/automation solutions from inception to execution

  • Evaluating and enhancing sales processes, systems, and reporting for improved efficiency and effectiveness on deal conversion, deal cycle time and pipeline forecasting as well as sales rep productivity

  • Developing and executing sales strategies that align with business objectives and maximize sales organization effectiveness

  • Analyzing large data sets for trends and insights, defining key performance metrics, and providing actionable recommendations to drive data-driven decisions

  • Leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with various departments to ensure successful project delivery and strategy implementation

  • Managing Quota and Commission planning with Sales team and oversee commission plan monthly execution with accounting and people services

  • Managing relationships with colleagues, staying informed on industry trends, and maintaining a proactive role in coaching and mentoring team members

  • Handling quota setting and plans across revenue functions to optimize financial objectives

  • Implementing and build best practices within the Sales Ops team

  • Drive process improvement and implement best practices on cross-functional process, such as quote to cash, renewal, lead generation, and managing reseller channel

  • Hire and build a Sales Ops team that leverages operational best practices

  • Managing relationships with colleagues, staying informed on industry trends, and maintaining a proactive role in coaching and mentoring team members

What You Will Need to be Successful:

  • 10+ years of experience in sales operations roles

  • 5+ years leading sales ops teams within a growing organization

  • 5+ years of experience working with and driving strategy within Salesforce and user productivity

  • Experience in working with performance management and commission applications

  • Optimistic and resourceful problem solver

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, master’s degree in business administration preferred
