Job Title: Technician

Job Description

As a Technician, you will be responsible for the installation and repair of flooded and sealed batteries, chargers, cable trays, battery racks, and power cables. You will prepare the material and equipment required for each job assignment, load and unload trucks, and haul and hoist materials. Additionally, you will place batteries on racks or in trays, and install battery cables and hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Install and repair flooded and sealed batteries, chargers, cable trays, battery racks, and power cables.

  • Prepare material and equipment required for each job assignment.

  • Load and unload trucks, and haul and hoist materials.

  • Place batteries on racks or in trays.

  • Install battery cables and hardware.

  • Conduct all activities in a safe manner by adhering to environmental, OSHA, DOT Hazmat, and warranty policies and procedures.

  • Participate in and successfully complete all required training.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

The role requires a willingness to travel up to 50% of the time. Shift availability includes day, night, and overnight shifts. The work environment involves construction activities and the use of heavy lifting equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dulles, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00
