Position Description
The purpose of this position is to support the activities of the Vice President and General Manager/NRV (VP). You will collaborate with the VP to creatively problem solve and develop a structure/way of working to meet customer demands, innovate, and continuously improve. This position is also responsible for supporting a safe workplace environment through oversight and management of third-party healthcare providers and is open to special projects that align with the individual’s strengths.
Responsibilities
Administrative & Organizational Support
- Prepare the VP for upcoming activities (meetings, tasks, visitors, travel, etc.).
Track and discuss the VP’s priorities and actions for the upcoming weeks and align on actions/areas where you can support while also ensuring the VP’s schedule is organized.
- Own and maintain a systemized way of working for the plant management team.
Manage a collaboration system that houses meeting notes, agendas, materials, learnings, actions, calendars, etc. for team organization, transparency, and alignment.
Business Strategy & Structure Planning
- Partner with the VP to develop a structure for success.
Collaborate with the VP to proactively identify plant needs and propose and implement forums, activities, agendas, reviews, etc. to best meet our plant goals.
- Manage the plant management team’s progress flow.
Track decisions needed or made, discussion topics, and outstanding actions; and integrate these items in appropriate forums, at the right time, to drive progress.
Plant Management Team Member
- Assist the VP in positively influencing the plant management team culture.
Lead by example with your character, actions, and behaviors to strengthen and unify the team.
- Collaborate with the plant management team members to contribute to our strategic initiatives and team growth.
Share your perspective and offer your strengths where you feel they can be applied.
Site Operations & Project Management
- Support site wide initiatives and events.
Help plan and execute and/or manage projects and initiatives assigned to you by the VP. Assist with special functions such as public relations events, executive visits, and employee events.

Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business or management + 1 year administrative experience OR 5 years executive management administrative support, preferably in a global environment.
5 years’ experience with all Microsoft Office applications.
Licensed notary in the Commonwealth of Virginia preferred.
