Trinity Health Patient Financial Specialist Lead in Dublin, Ohio

Position Purpose:

  • The position is directly responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the assigned team, serving as the first line of contact for the colleagues within the assigned areas or functions within the department

  • Specialty: Float throughout hospital – main and emergency room

  • Location : Dublin NEW LOCATION- 4105 Emerald Pkwy, Dublin, OH 43016

  • Hours of office: Sunday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 6:00a – 4:00p

What You Will Do:

  • Over see and support colleagues in PFS 1 position

  • Register patients

  • Verify insurance

  • Patient communication

  • Soft collection when registering patients

  • Using EPIC

  • Demonstrates understanding of Medicare, Medicaid and other third party information requirements and adheres to all third party regulations.

  • Demonstrates working knowledge of third-party payor benefits and requirements, and regulations impacting registration procedures.

  • Demonstrates working knowledge of CPT and ICD 9 coding and payor reimbursement methodologies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

  • Experience: Prefer minimum of two to five years experience in relevant work - a physician's office, clinic, hospital business office, financial service setting, or related area dealing with the public in collection of data and funds
