DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supports the Human Resources department by providing administrative support including but not limited to: processing incoming and outgoing mail and distributing, maintaining appropriate levels of supplies, preparing letters and correspondence for mass mailings, authoring correspondence as per request or direction, and compiling data or materials including new hire and recruiting packets. Provides customer service to employees, managers and Human Resources by answering questions about HR programs and policies along with Workday, the Human Resources Information System platform Audits data entry into Workday, the Human Resources Information System, including new hires, benefits, EEO designations, pay changes, terminations, etc. Supports data feeds between Workday and ADP payroll solution Generates regular HRIS reports (including bi-weekly reports). Prepares ad hoc reports to summarize data. Administers security to HR systems including but not limiting to: updating security rights to the system, providing backup to Audit during review Updates values on HR system validation tables Maintains personnel files, as well as maintains and update restrictive covenants, I-9 documentation and ensures compliance to the E-Verify process. Responds to employee inquiries to assists with benefit and other related questions, helps resolve issues, and provides support for HR Self-Service. Ensures all terminations and supporting documentation is sent to third-party administrator on a timely basis Performs other duties as required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education High School diploma or equivalent. Work Experience 3+ years' experience in an administrative role. At least 2 years' experience providing general administrative support for a team of 3 to 5 professional-level employees. Prefer administrative experience in an HR department. Technical Skills Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft applications to include all of the following: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Org Plus. Proficient in the use of office equipment including but not limited to copiers, fax, scanners, PCs. Keen attention to details. Ability to draw conclusions and summarize data. Demonstrated ability to draft business correspondence. Ability to handle multiple priorities as well as a high level of confidentiality. Excellent telephone skills in handling both internal and external customers. Ability to work independently and be highly organized. Strong interpersonal skills. Must maintain strict confidentiality Minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute. Prior experience with HRIS administration. Travel Travel typically is unnecessary but may be required in special circumstances. This position is required to go into the office 1x per week.
