Robert Half Full Stack Java Developer in Dublin, Ohio
Description
We are seeking a dedicated Full Stack Java Developer to join our team. The role is centered around software engineering, with a focus on designing, developing, implementing, and supporting applications, systems, and IT products to meet our business objectives. This position falls within the DevSecOps team, a group committed to DevSecOps, Automated Testing, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and the creation of a Self Service Web Portal for Solution Teams.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain software applications and systems required to achieve the company's business objectives.
Plan and execute system implementations, ensuring their success and minimizing risk of system outages or negative production impacts.
Utilize development techniques to build and unit test new systems functionality per technical specifications.
Analyze production system operations using tools such as monitoring, capacity analysis and outage root cause analysis to ensure continuous system stability and improvement.
Work on proof of concepts to validate architectural designs and solutions.
Maintain an ongoing comprehensive understanding of the DevOps and cloud-computing ecosystem.
Requirements
Skills:
Demonstrated experience in problem solving, Apigee, unit testing, software life cycle, and design patterns.
Comprehensive understanding of hardware/software platforms including databases, application servers, web servers, and integration technologies.
Proficiency in tools and languages such as SQL Queries, Spring Boot, Continuous Integration/Delivery, Microservice Frameworks, JavaScript.
Excellent understanding of Amazon Web Services, SaaS, PaaS, laaS, Web Portal, Google Cloud, REST, GIT, Containerization, ReactJS, APIs.
Exceptional ability to articulate technical concepts and solutions to non-technical audiences.
Strong Agile and Shell Scripting skills, alongside familiarity with B2B Software, Java, application programming, DevOps, and root cause analysis.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
6+ years of experience in a related field preferred
