We are looking for a highly motivated and technically strong Program Manager to help scale up our global network.

As a Technical PM you will be responsible for the overall velocity and quality of network scale out. You will drive business value by working across organizations to meet Microsoft customer capacity needs in Microsoft datacenters and edge sites. You will learn about the Microsoft Cloud and accelerate your career growth by driving design of network and software platforms within the Network team and across partner infrastructure organizations in Microsoft.

Responsibilities

• You will begin to identify opportunities and gaps across product and service feature areas, then collaborate with other departments to evaluate opportunity and define solution options.

• You will work with Software and Network Engineering to design technical solutions. You’ll also identify risks and propose data-based mitigations.

• You’ll define success criteria as you collaborate with others to implement features for cross-functional projects. You’ll coordinate and ensure alignment across teams.

• With minimal supervision, you will help deliver on roadmap for feature groups, track project schedules, develop staging and implementation, and stay updated with governance programs.

• You will drive continuous improvements by validating use cases and partnering with other departments to collect performance metrics. You’ll also contribute to customer support and participate in direct customer engagements.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

• Bachelor's Degree AND engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).

• Experience with Network Engineering (Provisioning, Operations or design)

Other Requirements:

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
