For Takeda Ireland Ltd, we are looking for a
P2 Drug Product Technologist
for a full-time, permanent position at our Grange Castle location in Lucan, Dublin, Ireland.
In this role, you will be at the heart of our manufacturing processes, ensuring that all activities are performed efficiently and in compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to process improvements, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and support the introduction of new technologies.
Your tasks in detail:
Manufacturing Operations: Manage operations in compliance with manufacturing instructions (BMR/EBR) and SOPs.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in problem identification, root cause analysis, and agile projects.
Process Introduction: Contribute to new process introductions and process validation.
Efficiency: Operate manufacturing and ancillary facilities efficiently.
Changeovers: Ensure equipment and production area changeovers are carried out.
Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and order in the workplace and ancillary facilities.
Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS): Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations; Report any breaches of HSE policy or potential hazards; Participate in the site Emergency Response Team; Manage and dispose of waste according to onsite procedures.
Quality Systems and GMP: Participate in auditing programs; Report deviations from manufacturing processes or procedures; Produce documentation in compliance with cGMP, Health and Safety, and Environmental regulations.
Training: Participate in training and assessment activities.
Your profile:
Leaving Certificate qualification or equivalent.
A few years of experience in Solid Oral Dose Production, including encapsulation, tableting, dispense & blending, and primary packaging.
Experience in a pharmaceutical production facility.
Experience in automated production systems (e.g., MES, DCS) is desirable
Knowledge of lean methodologies is beneficial.
Strong planning, scheduling, and prioritization abilities.
Excellent documentation practices with keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in PC and systems skills.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Flexible and safety-focused mindset.
Commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
Good in written and spoken English
Prepared for shift work to meet production demands.
