Fabrication Technician II - Doors (Welder)
First Shift
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities
Primary responsibility - perform Aluminum Mig Welding
Additional Duties:
Fabricates doors and frames from aluminum extrusions using standard and non-standard drawings
Uses hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, and saws
Uses milling machines, CNC machines for non-standard hardware preparations and configurations.
Designs, fabricates, and installs attachment of special hardware on nonstandard profiles
Interprets standard and non- standard bills of material and drawings per job
Assembles, adjust and welds doors based on order requirements
Identifies and tags material with written symbol for assembly and inspection
Comprehends and completes fabrication on a sequence of operations
Performs all general production work as required
Qualifications and Skill Requirements
High School diploma/GED (minimum)
Must have at least 2 years experience of aluminum Mig welding within a fabrication or manufacturing environment
