Job Overview:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Technician I - Entertainment Technical at Riverland. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

• Responsible for following directed performance guidelines, techniques and methodology as established by Entertainment. Specialized technical expertise for specific discipline is required.

• Responsibilities may include but not be limited to: Installation, programming, life safety, operations, and maintenance

• Maintain the artistic integrity of the entertainment production or event as approved by Entertainment Management

• Responsible for attendance, obtainment and adherence of specialized training, licenses or certifications as required by specific job delegation

• Responsible for safe and effective preparation, execution and strike of technical elements as directed by Entertainment management

• Capable of independent operation of all technical equipment in discipline of expertise

• Capable of supervising the operation of technical equipment in other technical disciplines

• Participation and involvement in all technical and entertainment related duties may be required for the operation of the attractions within the property

• Responsible for the accurate tracking, inventory management, and maintenance of all technical equipment and supplies. This includes conducting regular inventory checks, ensuring that all items are in order, and coordinating the repair or replacement of defective equipment

• Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established DPR policies, procedures, training and team member involvement activities

• Perform thorough pre-show and post-show inspections of all technical equipment and systems to ensure they are functioning properly. This includes setting up, testing, and troubleshooting equipment before performances, and conducting a detailed review and maintenance check after each show to address any issues

• Any other duties may be reasonably requested by the Management Team

About you:

The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:

• High School diploma or equivalent. A degree or certification in theatre technology, stage management, or a related field is highly desirable

• At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in technical roles within live Entertainment

• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of technical equipment in minimum two disciplines (Audio, Video, Lighting, Rigging, Automation)
