Amazon’s Middle East & North Africa (MENA) Seller Services is looking for an exceptionally motivated and talented Program Manager for Global Selling into one of our MENA marketplace to grow its international business arcs. Global Selling Business is a key growth engine for the overall Seller Business in MENA, and this team’s goal is to maximize the potential of out-of-region sellers for MENA customers, in terms of recruitment & account management and Seller, Delivery and Customer experience.
To be successful in this role you will be required to deliver the insights and actions to improve our Selection, Pricing and Customer Experience for Selling Partners from outside the MENA region. You influence global product roadmaps and drive projects to unblock MENA potential. You will need to have or build strong bonds with our away teams (notably in China but also in USA, Europe and India), have thought leadership and the ability to influence beyond scope. You will need to coordinate smoothly with the UAE/KSA Marketplace Category Heads as well as central teams.
This role will require interaction with China based selling partners. The candidate must be fluent in Verbal and written communication in Mandarin language.
Key job responsibilities
Reporting into the Head of Global Selling for MENA, you will:
-Oversee overall progress of scaling our Global Selling Partners in one of our marketplaces
-Dive deep into performance drivers and identify blockers, opportunities
-Drive programs to scale up relevant inputs
-Be a key stakeholder in store-wide initiatives and engage with local leaders in MENA Seller Services as well as Selling Partner Support, Customer Service and company-wide teams in Technology and Product Management to drive projects and improvements to buyer and Selling Partner facing-input metrics
-Coordinate with Global Selling teams across existing and new WW locations to annually recruit tens of thousands of Selling Partners who will provide selection leadership.
-Own the reporting (recurrent/adhoc) of the performance of the different global arcs, and align stakeholders on planning, priorities and team goals.
This role requires you to work up and down the organization and influence teams across all Amazon locales.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of driving process improvements experience
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
