Amazon Senior Program Manager - Global Store, MENA Stores in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Description

Amazon's Global Store team is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to drive key strategic initiatives and ensure the successful delivery of critical projects. As a Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing large, complex, and cross-functional programs that support the growth and expansion of Amazon's global retail business.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end delivery of high-impact programs and projects, working closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, finance, and business stakeholders

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk mitigation strategies, and status reporting to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery

Identify and resolve roadblocks, dependencies, and risks to keep projects moving forward

Facilitate effective decision making, communication, and coordination across teams

Define metrics and KPIs to track program performance and demonstrate business impact

Lead regular program reviews to provide transparency on progress, issues, and proposed solutions

Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and drive efficiencies

Mentor and develop more junior program managers on the team

Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in program/project management, ideally in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment

Turkish Speaker

Strong background in managing large, complex, and cross-functional programs from concept to completion

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills

Proficient in project management tools and methodologies

Experience with global operations and international project delivery

Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or PMP certification preferred

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
