Job Summary: Senior Manager - Project Control & Planning

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Manager of project Control and planning to manage project control for various construction and development projects. The role is pivotal in ensuring the successful completion of projects within set timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The Senior Manager will lead the planning and control functions, guide project teams, and collaborate with senior leadership to ensure projects are delivered efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Control:

Develop and maintain a standard Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Integrated Master Schedules. Coordinate across all business units and DH verticals to ensure alignment on project timelines and resource allocation.

Reporting & Risk Management:

Prepare and present monthly progress reports, analyzing project performance, identifying risks, and recommending corrective actions. Lead risk management processes, including risk identification, mitigation, and monitoring.

Change Control & Resource Management:

Manage project change control, ensuring all changes and delay notices are documented and communicated effectively. Evaluate resource allocation and gaps between planned and actual progress, providing optimization recommendations.

Stakeholder Engagement & Performance Monitoring:

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., consultants, contractors, statutory bodies) to ensure smooth project execution. Establish and manage operational and managerial reports to monitor the entire project lifecycle from design to handover.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum Education & Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).

Experience:

At least 15-18 years of experience in project controls, with a minimum of 2-4 years in a senior role with a developer, PMC or owner representative. Proven expertise in managing large-scale, complex projects in construction or real estate development.

Technical Skills:

Expertise in Primavera and Oracle Project Management Tools for schedule and financial tracking. Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting. Strong understanding of construction methods, project risks, quality control, and Construction claims and dispute resolutions
