THE ROLE

As an ambassador for our Maison, you will inspire, lead, shape and develop teams to ensure this objective is delivered seamlessly, positioning the Beauty Consultant at the heart of the relationships with our clients. They will have strong relationship building and influencing skills, ensuring collaboration and integration of teams to deliver on this mission.

You will embody and transmit brand’s values to your clients and employees. Reporting to Retail Director, you will plan and manage the achievement of sales objectives, the excellence of our client experience and ensure the implementation of the strategy set by the Management. You ensure the management and development of your employees and put the client relation and experience at the heart of all your actions.

You are the champion of the field and the global vision: You are a leader in Change Management for all Commercial and Retail development processes. You will exert a positive influence and ensure that brand strategies are transmitted to your field team.

The Maison will showcase Orveda’s unique French biotech luxury skincare philosophy, delivering a client experience unlike any other.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand image

  • Always ensure your team deliver an elevated brand image: signature grooming standard, visual merchandising (pos & animations), services & client experience, brand expertise, corporate values transmitted by a perfect storytelling.

  • Embody the values of the brand and encourage and develop “one-team” spirit with hospitality and generosity.

Retail expertise

  • Develop a unique client experience and impeccable client journey by being an example for your teams.

  • Monitor and forecast financial targets on a daily / weekly / monthly basis for the team. Analyze measurable statistics and take appropriate actions and / or inform relevant stakeholders.

  • Implementing Brand's retail policy and ensuring that the objectives set are met. Analyze and share KPI's of the business of the Maison.

  • Being a stakeholder in the construction and achievement of objectives and P&L (respect of budgets and commitments).

  • Maximize the effectiveness of the boutique ecosystem by creating a culture of collective performance and collaboration; Foster a positive working environment and create a culture of feedback, encouraging diversity, mutual respect and teamwork.

  • Optimize & guarantee the retail fluidity & service quality on the floor, client relationship management, with proactivity.

  • Ensure unsurpassed client experience through innovative and retail excellence that exceed client expectations.

  • Be a driving force in the development of action plans, challenges and partnerships according to priorities, results and activity.

  • Develop with the management team and the sales team a portfolio of clients, manage CRM tools for personalized monitoring of our clients and cultivate a “clienteling” mind-set.

  • Guarantee the excellence of every touch point of the client journey: ensure a signature experience with personalized services.

  • Monitor and analyze commercial KPIs to identify optimization solutions to impact sales and customer experience. Monitoring of training KPIs according to the global retail framework (Mystery Shopping, NPS etc.)

  • Represent its network of stores internally and externally. Participate in the promotion of stores during PR / client events etc

Team management

  • Participate in the recruitment, training and integration of your new employees in accordance with brand's values.

  • Ensure a climate of trust in the team through close monitoring and management: briefings and team meetings by instilling positive energy and creating well-being.

  • Define individual/team objectives, evaluate performance, identify training needs (challenge comfort zones, be demanding)

  • Accompany your teams through coaching and training, while ensuring the continuous development of their individual and collective skills (federating, motivating, celebrating victories).

  • Ensure the application and respect of procedures and operating rules within the point of sale (cash desk, point of sale management, merchandising, stock, etc.).

  • Manage disciplinary measures in collaboration with HR.

Back office & Operations

  • Supervise the administrative management of the team (schedules, payroll, bonuses, training, interim, lunching vouchers, uniforms, etc.).

  • Supervise maintenance: cleaning, linen, supplies, various suppliers...

  • Be responsible for risk management (physical security, cash management, inventories).

Visual Merchandising

  • Ensuring that the image and the general harmony of the Maison is respected (retail identity, merchandising execution & maintenance, cleanliness, organization and grooming of the team).

REQUIREMENTS

  • You are a dynamic, transformative, and credible business leader with at least 5 years’ experience managing a Flagship Boutique of an international luxury brand. Past perfume & cosmetics experience is a plus.

  • You have strong business acumen and will be skilled at understanding and leveraging the levers that will drive holistic performance in a luxury retail environment, encouraging a culture of innovation.

  • You are a seasoned business leader, who is comfortable and capable in galvanizing partnerships, working through influence not authority and collaborating in a matrix ecosystem.

  • You have innate sense of luxury know-how & high-end client experience, with taste for challenges and sales.

  • You are a true business developer; you have a keen sense of business reality and a strong attraction to performance and challenge.

  • You demonstrate a strong entrepreneurial spirit and great ability to adapt to a constantly changing retail environment.

  • Dynamic, empathetic & autonomous, you have a natural leadership with exemplary (luxury attitude & know-how, sense of details, application of procedures, field presence, presentation, elocution etc.)

  • You master Office Pack (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and you respect of confidentiality.

  • Fluent Arabic and English. A spoken 3rd language is a plus.
