Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as the Global Government Relations and Public Policy Coordinator at P&G Dubai HQ. In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and manage long-term relationships with key partners, implement market access and government relations strategies, and contribute to the success of our organization in the Middle East.

Responsibilities:

Community Engagement & Impact Work:

  • Develop and lead the execution of community engagement initiatives and strategy action plans, including events, outreach programs, and partnerships with local and federal governments in the UAE and beyond (Middle East).

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify community needs and develop strategies to address them effectively.

  • Coordinate and align community impact administrative efforts, including meeting planning, action plan follow-ups, and reporting.

  • Lead the application process for different external awards.

  • Support the establishment of the Government Relations Public Affairs Committee.

  • Lead and manage the Connectedness efforts for the Middle East, Pakistan, and Africa Government Relations Teams, including crafting and delivering monthly touch points and organizing related organization programs.

  • Act as a backup for the Singapore HQ community engagement SPOC.

Administrative Coordination:

  • Manage vendors, process invoices, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with IT or relevant departments to address system issues or improvements, ensuring smooth operations.

  • Assist in budget management, including the development, tracking, and updating of budgets for Middle East, Pakistan, and Africa SMOs GR.

  • Provide general administrative support as needed, including document preparation, scheduling meetings, and managing correspondence.

Job Qualifications

Requirements:

  • A minimum of bachelor's degree or equivalent preferably in a relevant field (e.g., Public Policy, International Relations, Business Administration).

  • Arabic and English proficiency is a must.

  • Experience in a similar role is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of government relations and public policy in the Middle East region would be an added advantage.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key partners.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Proven ability to develop and implement community engagement strategies and initiatives.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.

  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
