About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Director of Lifestyle Services to join our membership team in Dubai. The main purpose of this role is to lead a team of lifestyle managers to deliver an exceptional service to our VVIP members across our Jumeirah estate and beyond. Lifestyle managers will act as the unique point of contact for each member, ensuring members’ requests and unique experiences (both within the Jumeirah estate and beyond) are fulfilled and expectations are exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of lifestyle managers, lifestyle assistant managers and guest relationship managers to support members and provide luxurious experiences.

  • Measure, track, and regularly report on key success metrics associated with guest experience initiatives.

  • Establish an expectation of excellence in service standards through active management, team culture-building and new hire onboarding / training.

  • Manage team schedules and establish measures to guarantee 24/7 operations while maintaining the extremely high level of service expected by members.

  • Coordination with stakeholders across the Jumeirah and Dubai Holding organizations.

  • Collaborate with leaders across Jumeirah to create experiences that combine the best of what Jumeirah has to offer.

  • Understand the needs of lifestyle managers and guest relationship managers, and ensure they have the resources necessary to execute their roles at a high level.

  • Work across the ecosystem of Jumeirah assets to find ways to deliver novel and personalized experiences to members.

  • Engage directly with members as the first escalation point for service-related complaints.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of experience in any of the following sectors/areas: luxury hospitality management, customer service management, lifestyle and or account management, or luxury travel & leisure.

  • Experience supervising and leading teams between 5 and 20 people. Experience building these teams from the ground-up, or in growing teams from small to large sizes would be a significant value add.

  • A “hands on” natural problem solver, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.

  • Willingness to travel and to participate in remote meetings for members in other time zones.

  • Ability to speak multiple languages would be of significant benefit.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to communicate with HNW clients.

  • In-depth understanding of requirements involved in the lifestyle management of affluent, high-net worth individuals.

  • Demonstrated ability to set clear and meaningful performance targets.

  • In-depth knowledge of Dubai and UAE attractions, including but not limited to restaurants, hotels, wellness, entertainment, and events.
