OUR EXPECTATIONS FROM THE ROLE:
Culture Development:
Lead engagement activities for associates encompassing the hotel engagement and culture along with the company ethos and Spirit to serve initiatives.
Act as an ambassador for Marriott’s values, ensuring these are embedded into daily operations and associate interactions.
Collaborate with leaders to design and promote programs that strengthen inclusivity, diversity, and the company culture.
Employee Engagement:
Plan and execute meaningful associate engagement activities, events, and workshops that foster team spirit and motivation.
Implement recognition programs to celebrate individual and team accomplishments and milestones.
Support the associate engagement surveys, analyze feedback, and propose actionable insights to leadership.
Well-Being and Inclusion:
Support associate well-being programs, including mental health initiatives and work-life balance policies.
Promote and foster an inclusive environment initiatives.
Communication:
Relevant social media postings and communication pertaining to engagement activities.
Develop and manage internal communication channels for engagement initiatives, including newsletters, announcements, and feedback loops.
Ensure transparent and effective communication of updates related to cultural and HR initiatives.
Recruitment:
Support the Talent Acquisition process, including coordinating interviews, maintaining applicant tracking systems, and conducting reference checks, filing etc.
Assist in onboarding and orientation programs to provide a positive experience for new associates.
Associate Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for associates regarding workplace issues, maintaining confidentiality and providing guidance.
Assist in resolving associate grievances and support employment relations processes, including exit interviews and retention strategies.
Administrative Support:
Maintain accurate HR records and databases, including recruitment data, training records, and personnel files.
Provide support for payroll and HR systems (e.g., Oracle) and assist with reporting and compliance documentation.
Organize and manage associate events, including awards ceremonies and team-building activities.
HR Policy Compliance:
Ensure compliance with HR policies, safety protocols, and company procedures.
Monitor and enforce Marriott standards related to privacy, confidentiality, and professional conduct.
