SAP (Senior) DevOps Engineer (f/m/d) for CLM Application Management in Dresden, Germany

What you`ll do

As a (Senior) DevOps Engineer (f/m/d) within the SAP CLM AM Cloud Services Engineering Team you take over accountability for excellent execution of SAP’s Cloud strategy.

The goal of the team is to adapt the existing cloud LoB portfolio for deployment on public IaaS platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, ACS, …), leverage specific capabilities of respective platforms and enable innovation services on top.

In your role as (Senior) DevOps Engineer (f/m/d), you will work closely onsite with team colleagues in Dresden on joint projects with the following activities:

  • Collaborate with ECS towards lean delivery processes and relevant tooling impact in CLM and support in their ECS Special Customer Request Roadmap

  • Working with SAP Service Provider Cockpit (SPC), a solution that provides services for managing SAP Cloud efficiently and professionally

  • Development of automations to support our large customers during daily cloud lifecycle operations

  • Perform active stakeholder management with the ability to translate stakeholder expectations into simple, “easy to use” and “easy to maintain” processes, architecture and functionality

  • Working and leading projects in context of public IaaS platform enablement

  • Execute technical tasks to ensure efficient delivery of system landscape support core tasks in the assigned functional areas of responsibility

  • Support knowledge management in the team and between development and operations

What you bring

  • 6 years of SAP DevOps experience

  • Experienced in leading projects

  • Fluid German communication skills (C1) are a must have and good communication skills in English

  • Deep knowledge of SAP NetWeaver Basis or similar technologies as foundation for automation

  • Proven OS knowledge in Linux

  • Good knowledge about SAP system landscape design & architecture

  • Knowledge of Cloud Native Technologies is a plus

  • Experiences in leading projects is a plus

  • Knowledge and experience on public IaaS platforms

  • Experiences with HA/DR technologies is a plus

  • Very good team player with a clear “Can Do” attitude

  • Good analytical skills and strong customer focus
