Senior Fraud Data Analyst (Fully Remote)

How You Can Make a DifferenceJoin our team as a Senior Fraud Data Analyst and leverage your analytical prowess to combat fraudulent activities. Your role will be pivotal in:

  • Identifying and mitigating fraudulent account activity.
  • Uncovering patterns and anomalies in member behavior.
  • Developing metrics to report on fraud attempts, losses, and trends.

Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring new fraud risk trends and crafting innovative rules to safeguard our organization, all while ensuring a seamless member experience. Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to enhance our fraud prevention strategies.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead the periodic review of rule performance, seeking continuous improvement.
  • Take charge during Fraud incidents and communicate findings to management.
  • Innovate in identifying vulnerabilities and expanding fraud monitoring capabilities.
  • Engage in fraud risk assessments to spotlight risks and devise mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of fraud governance frameworks.
  • Conduct root cause analyses to pinpoint emerging fraud risks and propose actionable solutions.
  • Collaborate on addressing enterprise-wide fraud risks.
  • Support management in crafting detailed metrics that encapsulate fraud losses, threats, and trends.
  • Ensure meticulous documentation of fraud prevention rules, strategies, and metrics in line with our fraud governance policies.

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a data analyst role.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a fraud-related function.
  • Exceptional adaptability with a knack for quickly grasping new information and implications.
  • Robust quantitative analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and strong PC skills (MS PowerPoint, Project, Word, Visio, Outlook).
  • A solid understanding of financial services, banking, payment processes, regulations, and systems.
  • Familiarity with healthcare financial accounts (HSA, HRA, FSA) and insurance is a plus.
  • Comfort in navigating an ever-evolving work environment.
  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification is preferred.

Work Location & Compensation:This position is fully remote, catering to candidates in thePST or EST time zones. We offer a flexible pay rate, commensurate with experience and location, ranging from$52/hr to $63/hr.
