Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Plant Maintenance Trainee for our Downingtown facility located in Downingtown, PA.

What You'll Get To Do

Do you pride yourself in the ability to fix anything? Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Plant Maintenance Trainee , Night Shift to assist with the maintenance operations at this site. You will have the opportunity to tackle new challenges each and every day to keep the plant running smoothly and efficiently.

• Ensures compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, and with company policies and procedures

• Greasing and preventative maintenance on stationary equipment

• Driving a fuel truck and fueling mobile equipment

• Assist in maintenance work

• General Housekeeping and clean-up

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or GED

• 1-3 years’ experience preferred

• Experience working around heavy equipment a plus

• Must be able to carry 50 pounds, MSHA-trained a plus

• MSHA training a plus

• lift and carry up to 75 lbs., work in confined spaces, capable of wearing respiratory and other personal protective equipment

• MSHA Part 48 Training a plus
