Robert Half Data Analyst/Engineer in Downey, California

Description

Robert Half is seeking 20+ Data Migration Specialists for a long-term (2+ years) project with a well-known education client in Downey, CA. This role focuses on data migration, validation, and quality assurance, ensuring seamless data movement between systems. This role is 100% Onsite!

As a key part of the team, you will primarily review UAT (User Acceptance Testing) results, identify errors, and ensure data accuracy. The role requires strong SQL and Excel skills, along with experience in data mapping. While prior experience in payroll projects is a plus, it is not required.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in data migration projects.

  • Strong SQL skills for querying, validation, and troubleshooting.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.

  • Hands-on experience with data mapping and transformation.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret UAT test results for errors.

    Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute and validate data migration processes between systems.

  • Perform data mapping, ensuring alignment between legacy and new systems.

  • Analyze and review UAT results, identifying and resolving errors.

  • Utilize SQL queries and Excel for data validation, analysis, and cleanup.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate and complete data transfers.

  • Work closely with teams to troubleshoot data inconsistencies.

Nice-to-Have (Preferred):

  • Experience working on payroll-related projects.

Note: This role focuses on data migration and validation. Candidates will not be responsible for system configuration.
