Huntington National Bank Card Product Manager II - Loyalty/Rewards in Downers Grove, Illinois

Summary:The Card Product Manager II - Loyalty/Rewards ​executes Consumer Credit Card product strategies to drive new account acquisition and optimize portfolio performance by leveraging loyalty/rewards solutions that will drive account activation, usage, balance growth, and retention.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops a thorough knowledge of card products and related loyalty/rewards solutions with multiple tasks / products assigned.

  • Supports management in the building of business cases for addressing risks and opportunities and manage the implementation of loyalty/rewards solution all aimed at increasing spend and balance growth, revenue, and profitability.

  • Monitors day-to-day KPIs and identify trends and patterns and elevate issues to management as appropriate.

  • Leads coordination of all interested parties (i.e. – IT, Phone Bank, Credit Administration, Enterprise Risk, Operations, Retail Branches, Underwriting, Collections, Legal, Compliance, Vendors) to ensure effective implementation and understanding throughout the bank.

  • Implements effective controls and processes to ensure risks are measured, monitored and controlled and compliance requirements are adhered to on an on-going basis.

  • If applicable, ensures staff is properly trained, provided with appropriate resources and motivated to adhere to risk management principles.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 5+ years of financial services or banking product management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree

  • Experience working with credit card products

  • At least 2 years of experience leading or working with credit card loyalty/rewards platforms and solutions

  • Strong attention to detail, focus on process

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience working with financial products

  • Demonstrated ability to critically analyze situations and risks, determine paths of action, and make recommendations to remediate issues

  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements for financial institutions and products

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation Range:

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
