Job Title: Millwright Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Mechanic to join our team. The role involves industrial maintenance on chemical manufacturing equipment. You will work on a rotating Dupont schedule of 4-3-3 Days/Nights, with 12-hour shifts (6a-6p and 6p-6a). The hourly rate ranges from $31.04 to $32.24. This position is based in Dover, OH.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial maintenance on chemical manufacturing equipment.

• Conduct pipefitting, pipe assembly, and installation.

• Rebuild and install pumps.

• Repair motors and conveyors.

• Execute minor structural welding when necessary.

• Work on valves, gears, meters, and bearings.

• Lubricate and maintain equipment.

• Install and dismantle equipment.

• Work indoors 85% of the time and outdoors 15%.

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatic systems maintenance.

• Proficiency in working with valves, pipes, pumps, meters, bearings, and gearboxes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with large conveyors and bearings.

• Welding skills.

• Basic electrical maintenance knowledge.

• Previous experience in chemical manufacturing.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

• Familiarity with lock out tag out procedures.

Work Environment

This position operates in an industrial chemical manufacturing environment. The work schedule follows a Dupont rotating schedule: work 4 nights, off 3 days, work 3 days, off 1 day, work 3 nights, off 3 days, work 4 days, off 7 days. You will have every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off. The team is unionized and consists of a collaborative group of 16 maintenance professionals and engineering support. The company is solution-oriented and maintains great relationships within its private structure.

The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $66500.00
