Anticipated hourly range: $22.11 per hour - $30.11 per hour (includes shift differential)

The hourly range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Accountabilities:

  • Perform all Inbound or Outbound tasks and responsibilities for a Med DC.

  • Execute all training programs and curricula for the site:

  • New Employee Orientation (NEO)

  • QRA & EHS initial, annual, and refresher training (MyLearning and MySpark)

  • On the job training

  • PIT training

  • Possesses an outstanding facilitation skill set; a true extrovert with amazing relationship building and people skills

  • Extraordinary ability to provide a welcoming environment for our new hires and to contribute to our new employee experience

  • Supports the training and skills improvement of new and existing employees

  • Maintain and update training records and certifications for all employees

  • Act as a site champion for all training questions and issues from associates related to the Inbound or Outbound operations

  • Regularly solicit feedback on opportunities to improve training programs

  • Retain appropriate PIT licenses and certifications related to the job

  • Develop and execute action plans to improve Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) related to the effectiveness of the training program

Shift:

  • Sunday-Thursday (Sunday 1pm start, Mon-Thu 4pm start - completion)

  • Associates must be flexible to work across shifts based on business need. This includes AM, PM, and possibly weekends.

  • Hours may vary but will not be less than 40 per week.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred some college preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft office.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly

  • Ability to work with limited supervision. Work will occasionally be reviewed by a lead or supervisor.

  • Working knowledge or willingness to learn all job-functions within Inbound or Outbound operations.

  • Leads by example with regards to safety, quality, and productivity performance.
