Job Summary and Qualifications

At Horizon Medical Center, we are seeking a highly motivated CT Technologist or Radiologic Technologist eager to cross-train into CT imaging. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. This role emphasizes productivity, efficiency, image quality, and excellent customer service. The candidate will participate in continuous Quality Improvement activities, maintain cultural and diversity awareness, and promote a supportive, teamwork-oriented environment in alignment with the long-range plan, mission, vision, and values of Horizon Medical Center.

Responsibilities:

• You will perform standard radiologic and CT imaging procedures with high attention to detail and precision.

• You will exercise independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in executing technical procedures.

• You will ensure productivity and efficiency in all tasks while maintaining high-quality imaging standards.

• You will provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and co-workers.

• You will participate in Performance Improvement activities to ensure continuous Quality Improvement.

• You will maintain cultural and diversity awareness in interactions with patients, visitors, and colleagues.

• You will foster a supportive and teamwork-oriented environment within the department.

• You will fulfill all departmental responsibilities in line with the long-range plan, mission, vision, and values of Horizon Medical Center.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• ARRT (R) registered.

• Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university.

• Clinical experience is preferred.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Certification required within 90 days of hire or promotion.

• Maintains all required licenses, certifications, and accreditations.

• Availability to work full time nights and weekends.

Desired Job Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university.

• ARRT (R) (CT) registry is required.

• Two years of CT experience is preferred.

• Functional knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy is preferred.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Certification required within 30 days of hire or promotion.

• Maintains all required licenses, certifications, and accreditations.
