Adecco Staffing is working with a Manufacturing company, located in Devens, Ma.

We're seeking an ambitious Warehouse Manager to join our team at a new facility. This is a Direct Hire Opportunity!

This role offers the chance to shape business practices and culture from the ground up, with support from a global industry leader of 65+ years. As a key figure you'll oversee inventory, warehousing, and logistics processes, leading the team in finalizing warehouse layout and material flows both within and outside the building. With a focus on customer satisfaction, collaboration, and excellence, you'll ensure efficient shipments and contribute to the growth of future employees.

What you'll be doing

  • Monitor and maintain current inventory levels.

  • Track inventory usage and manage stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.

  • Conduct regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile discrepancies.

  • Generate purchase orders based on inventory needs.

  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.

  • Monitor lead times and adjust order quantities to optimize inventory levels.

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments.

  • Use inventory management software to update stock information and generate reports.

  • Inspect incoming inventory for defects or discrepancies and report any issues.

  • Ensure that inventory is stored correctly to prevent damage and deterioration.

  • Analyze sales trends and historical data to forecast future inventory needs.

  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.

  • Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.

  • Provide inventory status reports to management and other departments as needed.

  • Monitor inventory costs and work to minimize expenses related to storage, handling, and obsolescence.

  • Identify opportunities for cost savings through improved inventory management practices.

  • Work closely with procurement, production, sales, and finance departments to ensure inventory aligns with company needs.

  • Communicate effectively to resolve any inventory-related issues.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations.

  • Maintain a safe and organized storage environment.

  • Utilize inventory management software, barcode scanners, and other technology to streamline inventory processes.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
